There are 3 phases of manifesting money and abundance with EFT Tapping:

1. Attracting money

2. Holding onto and growing money

3. Letting go of money

Each phase is equally as important in the process of manifestation.  

Attracting money is about allowing money to flow in. Holding onto money is about allowing your money to grow.  Finally letting go of money, is about sharing your financial wealth and abundance with others. 

What prevents money from coming is are blocks to attracting money, holding onto it, or letting go of money. 

Usually they are unconscious blocks and can sabotage increase wealth. 

These abundance blocks can be a result of  beliefs learn't from your:

  • Family - for example if your father struggled with making money, then you might inherit a belief that, "It's hard to make money"
  • Society - for example if the society you are part of has a belief about how wealthy you need to b accepted, then these beliefs can weigh in and block the ability to manifest abundance.
  • Culture - for example in your culture there might be beliefs that, "rich people are arrogant and unkind."
  • Mentors- for example if a teacher shared with you in school that, "hard work is the only path to success."
  • Media and news - for example scaremongering and statements like, "The economy is going down the drain."

Your personal values and past negative experiences will also limit your ability to make money. 

They are deeply ingrained in our subconscious mind, the part of our mind that scientists believe is responsible for 90% of what we experience in this world.

People get stuck in certain energy or certain vibration and they can’t find a way out of it partly because they don’t know where they are.

So, the first thing is to find out your relationship with money. Begin by identifying your money profile:

A. You are a money attractor - the minute you think about money, it manifests in your life, but you cannot seem to hold onto it.
B. You are a money hoarder - when money comes in, you can easily hold onto it and allow it to grow, but find it hard to let it go.
C. You are a money giver - when money comes in, you give it away, especially to feel good and please others.
D. You are a money rollercoaster - money goes up and down, there are times when you are flush with money and other times when you are empty.
E. You are a money blocker - there are mental limits to how much money can flow into your life, based on your mindset.

Based on your profile, we can begin by using a technique like EFT Tapping or Emotional Freedom Techniques  to have a health balance between attracting, hoarding and giving. As well as being comfortable with the rollercoaster of money, and clearing any blocks to money. 

Let's see a few common abundance blocks people have, which don't allow them to prosper. As you read through each of them, check if any of the blocks relates to you. 

1.  Mindset: Many people experience an uncertainty related to income and employment. Especially during COVID-19, people were earning quite less and many were even being laid off. Naturally, they feel insecure and operate from a scarcity mindset.  When we have a scarcity mindset, we are very conscious of our expenses and savings, which is undoubtedly a good thing. But the problem is that this behaviour is backed by a deep belief that "I don't have enough and hence I need to be very careful about my spendings." When we continuously think and act from a sense of lack, we attract it even more. Thus, the situation surely doesn't get better, rather gets worse. 

2. Limiting Beliefs- Limiting beliefs are the biggest hurdles to achieving our dreams. We may have framed these beliefs from our parents or through our own experiences. 

Our parents grew up in a different generation than us and usually had a very different relationship with money. They generally believe that you can't earn money without struggling and having to work hard. 

3. Self-Worth- People who have a low self worth, don't tend to see themselves as deserving of good things. When you feel that you are not good enough and that you don't deserve wealth, success, or happiness, the universe will respond exactly to that and you won't receive good things. 

4. Emotions-  The most common emotions that act as abundance blocks, are fear and doubt, jealousy, guilt, and sadness. These emotions lower our vibrations and blocks the good things to come our way. 


By identifying the limiting belief, you can use the EFT Tapping process to clear it.


Well, you learned about a few abundance blocks above. So what can start doing now, to work on those blocks? 

Here, are a few practices you can imbibe in your everyday life, to attract more abundance and shift from a scarcity mindset to an abundance mindset:

1. Gratitude-  Most of us have the tendency to focus on what we do not have or what we lack, and then wonder why our lives are so empty and unhappy. Being grateful for what we have is an effective way of releasing this sense of loss. When we believe that whatever we have is enough, we become an open channel to receive more and more. 

We can be thankful even for the little things that we otherwise take for granted; like our home, family, or the food that we eat. When we feel grateful, we experience a sense of peace and contentment. Remember, whatever you focus on grows. Even if you have just 100 bucks right now and you are thankful for it, it will only multiply into thousands and lakhs. 

This simple practice of feeling grateful brings far-reaching results because to dwell on the good is to magnify it. 

Taking a few moments daily to affirm all the things and people we are thankful for is a great way to practice mindfulness and gratitude. You can either listen to a gratitude meditation or speak or write your own affirmations.

2. Giving- I always like to keep in mind this one golden rule: Giving is equal to receiving. When you give with a kind heart, the universe gives you even more. Whatever you give, comes back to you. Give love and happiness, and you receive the same. 

To feel abundant, give and donate  whatever little amount you can. It's the intention that matters, not the amount. 

3. Happiness for Other's- Often, we feel jealous and unhappy when our friends achieve something or are more successful than us. It's normal to feel this, but instead of dwelling on this negativity, become aware of these emotions. When we feel negative towards someone, we are only inviting more negativity for yourself. When we feel genuinely happy for someone, we attract positivity and blessings our way too. 

My search for Abundance led me to attend a 3 Day seminar in Mumbai. It was called EFT(Emotional Freedom Techniques). It was at this seminar I realized that the self –work that I had done was as good as nothing- the reason my belief systems and subconscious patterns hadn’t changed.

It was after attending this seminar that I realized that there were many kinds of Abundance.

Abundance of Money – This is what most people would expect to have, upon hearing the word ‘Abundance’.

Abundance of relationships – I gave the least importance to the relationships in my life, even collecting anger, hatred, unhealthy competitiveness, jealousy and depression against many relationships.

Abundance of health – I did not have the time to give importance to my health, which resulted in illnesses (Of course most of them came from my stored emotions).

True Abundance is only when a person has all three of the above, Wealth, Relationships and Health. I did not have any.

What I also realized was that I was already filled with all that did not serve me. The unwanted emotions not only wreaked havoc in my physical being, but they also made me act against my nature, resulting in extreme poverty consciousness. I even developed low self-worth and felt I did not deserve abundance. And that is exactly what was manifesting for me. Poverty!

I worked on myself, and even let go of so many emotions and people in my life, and slowly got to where I was pretty comfortable. I am still a work in progress and although I still may not be able to afford an international vacation, I’m getting there pretty quickly, I must say.


EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is a holistic healing alternative therapy that works on both, physical and emotional aspects of an individual.

It is based on ancient Chinese medicine and modern psychology, and works by tapping on certain specific points on the body while saying particular statements, to balance the energy in the body.

According to Gary Craig, the founder of EFT, when you go through some negative or traumatic experiences in your life, (however small or big they are) they are stored as a distressing memory.

These distressing memories create a disruption in the flow of energy in the body, and as a result unresolved negative emotions are formed.

When these unresolved emotions interfere with the flow of energy in the body, and don't allow us to operate at our optimal level and we are always acting from an energy disruption that happened due to a past event or experience. 

In terms of money, most of us have been conditioned to believe that it takes a lot of struggle and hard work to make good money.  Distortions about money exist in virtually everybody's mind - and energy system.

Take a banknote of a reasonably large denomination and simply place it in front of you. What occurs to your mind? What emotions do you feel when you see it? When Silvia Hartmann, an energy psychologist, tested this procedure with people, it was quite interesting to note what a variety of negative responses occurred. From, "I don't believe this is mine", via "I don't deserve to have this", to "There's no point getting attached to it, it's not gonna stay anyway" - a whole range of depressing, unhappy, and generally very negative responses were observed.

This became even more prominent when she picked up the note, handed it out to the person and said, "Here you go, (name), this is for you." Not a single one of her clients could take the money without feeling seriously bad for a whole range of complicated reasons!

As you read in the previous section, negative self-talk and low self-worth, limiting core beliefs, childhood experiences of lack and limitations, are the main causes of abundance blocks. 

EFT works on releasing your deepest unresolved negative emotions. It targets what is often the true source of your problems; your emotions, your stress, your traumas.

Karate Chop: Even though I have a feeling I might be sabotaging my own efforts, I say one thing and do another, and it leaves me feeling victimized at my own hands, I deeply and completely accept all of me. (3 times).

Eyebrow: Why do I do this? going against myself, doing stupid stuff

Side of the eye: That comes back to bite me

Under the eye: What's wrong with me?

Under the nose: Don't I want me to succeed?

Under the mouth: Don't I want me to be happy?

Collarbone: Then why .. why do I get in my own way?

Under the arm: I love making things harder for myself, don't I?

Top of the head: Why do I do this?

Closing sequence (Karate chop): Even though I make things harder for myself I am open to the possibility of loving myself anyway.

Closing sequence (Karate chop): Even though I was self-sabotaging, that was then and this is now, I am grateful for becoming my best friend and being empowered. I deeply and completely love and accept myself.

So in closing, be kind and compassionate towards yourself. Use this EFT Tapping script till you feel empowered enough.

Remember, wealth is a state of mind. To attract wealth, it's important to feel wealthy.
