In this blog, you will learn what EFT Tapping technique steps to follow to find peace within yourself. 

Today, what will you give away to have some peace in your life? 

To find your calm in the middle of chaos, or to just have a few minutes of a sense of inner peace, which refreshes you to face the world again?

Yes, it is possible to find a way to be happy, healthy, and peaceful.  

And one such way is EFT Tapping.  

EFT or Emotional Freedom Techniques work on your emotional issues, and clear emotional baggage.

Once you solve these underlying issues, which you might have been unaware of, you realise that it automatically solves many of your physical issues as well. 

This is because your emotions impact your overall well-being in more ways than one.

HOW TO BE PEACEFUL USING EFT tapping

Step 1

Take a quick temperature check

Begin by identifying what is disrupting your sense of peace. Ask yourself:

  • What or who is making me feel not at peace?
  • What triggers this feeling?
  • What has to happen for me to feel peaceful again?

Here are some reflective questions you can ask when exploring inner peace:

  • What does inner peace mean to me?
  • When was the last time I felt truly peaceful? What was I doing?
  • What situations or people make me feel disconnected from peace?
  • What thoughts or beliefs are keeping me from feeling at peace right now?
  • How do I typically react when I feel stressed or anxious?
  • What would have to change for me to feel more at peace in my life?
  • Are there any unresolved emotions or memories that are disturbing my peace?
  • What practices or habits help me feel more grounded and peaceful?
  • Where in my body do I feel tension or unease when I think about peace?
  • How can I invite more peace into my daily routine?

Step 2

Identify the physical sensations

Connect with the physical sensations that come with your current emotional state. You can ask:

  • How am I feeling right now?
  • Where in my body am I experiencing this feeling?
  • What is the color, texture, size, and shape of this feeling?
  • On a scale of 1 to 10, where 10 is very intense and 1 is not intense at all, what number best represents this feeling?



Step 3

Start tapping on the side of your hand (Karate Chop) 

Tap on the Karate Chop point using a setup statement like:

“Even though I feel unsettled because of [situation], and I can feel it in my [body part], it’s at a number [#], and it feels like [description], I deeply and completely love and accept myself.” (Repeat 3 times)

Here are 10 Karate Chop (setup statement) examples for tapping on inner peace:


  • Even though I feel restless and disconnected from peace, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.
  • Even though I struggle to find calm in the chaos, I choose to invite peace into my mind and body now.
  • Even though I feel overwhelmed and tense, I deeply and completely accept where I am and allow peace to flow through me.
  • Even though it feels hard to let go of stress, I honor myself and choose to release it now, making space for peace.
  • Even though I’m holding on to anxiety, I deeply and completely love and accept myself, and I choose peace instead.
  • Even though I feel unsettled and can’t seem to relax, I choose to welcome a sense of peace into my heart.
  • Even though my mind feels busy and noisy, I deeply and completely accept myself and open to the possibility of inner peace.
  • Even though I’m struggling to feel peaceful, I honor my feelings and invite calm into my life.
  • Even though I feel disconnected from peace, I choose to trust that peace is always available to me, and I can access it now.
  • Even though I find it difficult to quiet my mind, I deeply and completely accept myself and choose to relax into peace."

Step 4

Tap on the facial and upper body EFT Tapping points

Use the identified phrases to tap on the facial, upper body, and finger EFT Tapping Points:


  •  Eyebrow: I don’t feel at peace because of...
  • Side of Eye: I feel it in my...
  • Under Eye: It’s at a number...
  • Under Nose: It makes me feel...
  • Chin: I feel it in my... at a number...
  • Collarbone: This feeling of unrest...
  • Under Arm: So much tension because...
  • Thumb: I feel disconnected from peace because...
  • Index Finger: It’s affecting me in my...
  • Middle Finger: I feel it lingering in my...

Step 5

Close the sequence

Close the sequence by coming back to the EFT Karate Chop Tapping Points and repeating the setup statement once: 


Return to the Karate Chop point and repeat the setup statement once more, for example:

“Even though I feel unsettled because of [situation], and I can feel it in my [body part], it’s at a number [#], and it feels like [description], I deeply and completely love and accept myself.”



Step 6

Breathe and relax 

Take a gentle breath in and out, and have a sip of water. 


Step 7

Test yourself

Check in with how you’re feeling by asking:

  • What is my current level of peace on a scale from 1 to 10?
  • What has shifted after the tapping?
  • How do I feel now?

If you feel more peaceful, you can close with positive tapping.

If the feeling is still intense, continue exploring any memories or emotions that are surfacing.


Step 8

Positive tapping for emotions

You can use positive tapping sequences to reinforce peace. For example:

“Even though I was feeling unsettled, that was then, and this is now. I am open to feeling peaceful and relaxed in this moment.”

Repeat as often as needed, and stop when you feel more peaceful and calm.

Here are 10 tapping affirmations for peace:

  • "I release any tension and invite calmness into my mind and body."
  • "I am worthy of feeling deep inner peace, and I allow it to flow through me."
  • "In this moment, I choose peace over stress."
  • "I trust that peace is always available to me, even in challenging times."
  • "As I tap, I let go of any unrest and embrace serenity."
  • "I release the need for control and allow peace to fill me."
  • "I am calm, centered, and at peace with where I am right now."
  • "Peace is my natural state, and I choose to return to it."
  • "With each breath, I breathe in peace and breathe out tension."
  • "I am grounded in peace, no matter what is happening around me."
