Our certified Mentors and Mentors-in-Training (referred to as Mentors from now on) abide by a strict Code of Conduct to provide the highest level of care and best practices.
In addition to the above, our Mentors also follow the guidelines and terms outlined below. By submitting your intake form and initiating your first mentoring session, you agree to the following terms:
Disclaimer: You understand that mentoring sessions are not a replacement for medical or mental health diagnosis and treatment. If you require medical or mental health support, please seek this independently. You acknowledge that mentoring focuses on guidance, skill-building, and professional or personal development and is not a treatment for medical or mental health conditions. You declare that you are physically and mentally able to participate in mentoring sessions and take full responsibility for your own physical and mental well-being. Please note that the benefits and outcomes of mentoring sessions can vary from person to person. While many individuals experience significant growth, development, and clarity, specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Vitality Living College (VLC) shall not be held liable in the event you do not experience anticipated benefits.
Confidentiality: Both you and your Mentor agree to keep the session and any oral or written information related to the preparation and performance of the session confidential. This confidentiality remains in perpetuity, except where legal or ethical obligations require disclosure.
Mentors are bound to respect your privacy and will not disclose any relevant information to third parties without your explicit consent.
Record Taking Consent: You understand that mentoring sessions may involve the creation of records, such as notes, audio recordings, or video recordings, and you consent to this as part of the mentoring process.
If your sessions are part of a mentoring or supervision training program, your notes or recordings may be submitted for review by a Trainer. These materials will remain confidential and stored securely.
Informed Consent: You provide informed consent for mentoring sessions, including discussions and practices related to EFT or other applicable modalities.
You understand that while there is evidence supporting these practices, outcomes can vary based on individual circumstances. These mentoring practices are not intended to have side effects, and you are encouraged to discuss any concerns with your Mentor.
Data Information and Privacy: All sessions and information shared as part of the mentoring process are private and confidential. Your personal information will be stored securely and handled in compliance with applicable data protection laws and regulations.
For more information, please refer to our Privacy Policy and Data Protection Declaration.
Indemnity: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VLC, along with its directors, officers, employees, agents, consultants, volunteers, subsidiaries, parents, successors, contractors, affiliates, and others associated with VLC, from any liability or claims resulting from the actions or alleged actions of the Mentor.
Dispute Resolution: In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt an amicable resolution. However, should any actions or omissions be deemed to disrupt the mentoring process or its integrity, appropriate legal measures may be taken.
