EFT Tapping to let go of the past

"Learn from the past, and live in the only moment of time over which you have any control: Now." Denis Waitley

Our life experiences, especially those that involve struggle and emotional pain, can leave a deep imprint on our psyche.

That can cause us to get stuck in the past.

It means that you haven't been able to step out of past experiences and accept it for what it was. Part of you wants to go back in time to change it.

It prevents you from living fully in the present.

While it is normal from time to time to go into the past, and have regrets about something you have or have not done.

My biggest regret was not being able to complete my education when I had the time.

While all my friends were busy getting a college education, to secure their future, I was busy getting married and planning to start a family.

Days passed into years and I managed to get a job in a big reputed company at a junior level executive.

But my happiness was short-lived.

To my chagrin, I found out that my classmate was my boss.

And boy did it hurt! At school I was elected her mentor and helped tutor her in her weak subjects.

The regret returned full force!

Many years passed and I enveloped myself in regret till I was ready to have a meltdown, and was even jealous of my friends' success.

Just in time, I happened to learn Emotional Freedom Techniques(EFT). EFT helped me realize it was truly easy to get rid of unhealthy emotions that kept me stuck in the past.

Emotional Freedom Techniques (tapping) is clinically proven to lower stress, tension, anxiety, past-trauma to enable health, happiness and vitality.

It can reduce stress in seconds.

Bring to mind something that happened in your past, even from as far back as your childhood that you still have a hard time "forgetting" or shaking off, then tap along to the statements.
