How EFT Tapping And These 3 Daily Exercises Boost Your Energy?
EFT Tapping To Boost Energy
Almost everything in life involves the use of energy; energy is always present, influencing bodily functions even when we aren't aware of it. This is how energy plays an important role in our lives, and how important energy is for our well-being. You can regulate and boost your bodily energy with various ways, one of them being Emotional Freedom Techniques (or EFT Tapping technique). In this blog, you will know how EFT Tapping is an effective alternative therapy that helps to increase your energy and harmony.
Imagine an electrical appliance. You decide to use it and plug it in.
Nothing happens. It doesn’t work. What will you do?
You will check the electrical circuits because you know that something is wrong.
Just like an electrical appliance, the human body also has energy circuits called meridians. They flow throughout your body and even externally in one’s aura.
These circuits or meridians can influence your emotional and mental well-being and hence it is critical to keep the energy flowing freely through them, without any disruptions.
I have noticed how people frequently make the word ‘energy’ complicated by attempting to define it in scientific or mystical terms. To understand energy, all you have to do is sit quietly and tune into yourself and your surroundings.
When you feel present, for example, your energy is grounded; when you feel attraction or repulsion, you may experience an energetic charge; and when you laugh or weep, you may experience an energetic discharge, or at times you just feel tired and exhausted.
It is no surprise that humans these days have energy problems. You should know something is wrong with your energy system if getting through the workday involves sheer grit and loads of caffeine.
So, when you are dealing with an increased workload, the first thing you should do is pause whatever you are doing and consider a better approach to manage your energy, rather than adding more work hours to your work days, or reaching out for endless cups of coffee.
The truth is that a few small tweaks can give you a significant boost.
Now, you might want to ask what is energy exactly? Despite the fact that you are continuously surrounded by it, the nature of this elusive yet all-pervasive force is frequently misinterpreted — or never considered at all.
WHAT IS ENERGY?
To put it in a simple way, energy is the ability to work. In this sense it means when a force works on an object to cause it to move. Work is made up of three primary elements: force, displacement, and cause. The amount of work that must be done on an object in order to create these components is measured in energy.
Energy is likewise a conserved quantity in the universe; a finite amount, despite a near infinite supply. Even though it can be turned directly into matter, it is not a material substance that can be measured or stored in numerous ways.
But overall, energy is something that plays a vital role in your lives and is responsible for the flawless functioning of your body.
HOW IMPORTANT IS ENERGY?
Getting out of bed, going down the street, or even lifting your finger requires energy.
Since, energy is a basic human requirement, it is extremely crucial in your daily life. Not only do you utilise energy to heat, but you also use it to cool your man-made structures.
You require energy for a variety of reasons. To begin with, it is necessary to just stay alive. Everything you eat, consume, or utilise has energy.
The body's natural internal activities are fueled and regulated by energy. It is utilised to develop muscle, repair cells and bodily tissue, and maintain homeostasis – and the harsher the environment, the more energy is required to do so.
Energy is required to generate enzymes, contract and move muscles, and transport electrical impulses between cells, to name a few things. Everything in society requires energy, from driving to watching television to keeping houses and businesses illuminated with artificial light (1).
Because of its significance in your existence, energy has become so crucial that your lives are dependent on it. Also, all of your bodily functions depend on it.
You may often feel fatigued and exhausted and will find need the need to feel more energised in order to complete specific tasks. This is the level of power energy wields over you. It is the epicentre of every imaginable moment.
“Feeling tired should almost never be an excuse, because your body has huge reserves of energy.”

WHY DO PEOPLE FEEL TIRED?
You may want to ask this question if you find yourself sleeping until the last possible second before dragging yourself out of bed. Or perhaps you simply lack the energy to complete tasks as efficiently as you once did.
"Why am I tired all the time?"
Many people suffer from fatigue and a lack of energy, but these issues can only be handled if you know what's wrong.
If you feel continuously fatigued, the first thing you should do is schedule an appointment with your primary doctor. To figure out what is causing your tiredness, your doctor can conduct a thorough medical history, perform a physical exam, and run any necessary tests.
The following are some of the possible reasons of fatigue:
1.
Lack of sleep
While a lack of sleep may appear to be an obvious cause of chronic fatigue, it is surprisingly a widespread source of tiredness that can negatively affect your entire health and well-being. Many people are too stressed or too busy in their daily lives to calm down and get the rest they require to feel healthy.
2.
Depression
Sleep and energy levels are common concerns for those who are depressed. You may have difficulty falling asleep or waking up in the middle of the night. Some people who are depressed may have difficulty waking up in the morning and may sleep too much. People who are depressed typically feel lethargic and unmotivated.
3.
Anaemia
When you have anaemia, your body either does not have enough red blood cells or does not have enough haemoglobin. The chemical that gives red blood cells their colour is haemoglobin. It is also responsible for transporting oxygen throughout your body.
4.
Insufficient fuel
What you eat (or don't eat) can have an impact on how much sleep you get. Fatigue can be caused by not eating enough, or consuming meals that are not nutritious. When you eat items that cause your blood sugar to increase, you become tired as soon as those sugar levels drop (3).
There are numerous other causes, but these are the most common.
In fact, you may be simply fatigued for no apparent reason. To combat fatigue, keep in the low-to-moderate exertion range when exercising for energy, such as walking, yoga, or mild resistance training, or alternative therapy techniques.
WHAT ARE THE 12 ENERGY MERIDIANS?
Meridians are an energy circulatory system similar to the circulatory system of blood. They are like rivers, bringing the flow of energy to various locations in a precise direction, much like a river does.
These meridian channels function similarly to the circulatory system in that they distribute energy, nutrients, and blood throughout the body.
In the human body, there are 12 primary meridians that are all connected to key organs.
Based on Chinese medicine these 12 energy meridians are as follows:
- Lung meridian: The lung meridian influences the respiratory system and determines how energy is utilised.
- Large intestine meridian: The digestion and extraction of water from waste is regulated by the large intestine meridian.
- Stomach meridian: The stomach meridian controls food digestion by regulating nutrient extraction, distribution to the intestines and spleen, and total digestion.
- Spleen meridian: The pancreas is part of this meridian, which is also responsible for digestion. To develop true human energy, the spleen meridian collaborates with the lung meridian. The tone of muscles affects this meridian, which in turn affects them.
- Heart meridian: The circulation of blood to all organs is regulated by the heart meridian.
- Small intestine meridian: Digestion, water absorption, nutrition absorption, and bowel functions are all controlled by the small intestine meridian.
- Bladder meridian: The elimination of toxins from the body is regulated by the bladder meridian.
- Kidney meridian: The kidney meridian controls the reproductive system, testosterone levels, bone marrow production, and blood production.
- Pericardium meridian: The pericardium meridian controls and protects the energy that surrounds the heart, guaranteeing optimum function and emotional equilibrium.
- Triple warmer meridian: The triple warmer meridian balances the body's metabolism and supports overall health.
- Gall bladder meridian: The clearance and storage of toxins produced by the liver is regulated by the gall bladder meridian.
- Liver meridian: The female reproductive system, energy circulation, and ligament and tendon flexibility are all regulated by the liver meridian (2).
As a result, if a specific channel or organ is causing problems, these issues can be addressed by addressing numerous places.
When these pressure points are triggered, a succession of networks along the meridian is activated. This activation then transports the massage's influence from one end of the body to the other, resulting in the desired therapeutic effect.
Receiving a meridian massage can significantly improve your overall health by re-balancing your system.
It is these energy meridians flowing throughout your body that can make you feel energised if flowing freely, or low in energy if they become blocked.
By tapping on these energy meridians using Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) you can also harness the power of the body and mind to live the life you want, achieve your goals, enable peace of mind and health.
EFT Tapping has the ability to get to the root cause of an issue and heal it permanently. Learn the experiences of others who have learnt EFT.
While reviving this energy at times may seem time consuming, once you learn EFT just 5 minutes a day can bring back the zest in your life.
Over the years stress, accumulated emotions, sedentary lifestyle and many other factors leave you depleted of this energy, and even sometimes disrupt the flow, leading to disease and emotional issues.
If there have been times when you have felt exhausted even though you’ve just woken up, or are unable to perform any tasks effectively, or even have a lack of interest in your overall life, chances are that your energy flow has been disrupted. Hence you are unable to function at your highest potential.
There may be times when while clearing energy disruptions, emotions may rise to the surface.
It is important to remember that these emotions come up so that they could be released, and these can be easily eliminated through EFT Tapping therapy.
This is done through simply using the EFT Tapping sequence by tapping on acupressure points while saying statements out loud to accept situations.
If you would like to experience the power of EFT Tapping first hand, and you wish to know what this sequence is, download a Free Booklet here.

Emotional Freedom Techniques (tapping) is clinically proven to lower stress, tension, anxiety, past-trauma to enable health, happiness and vitality.
EFT TAPPING OR EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUES
Developed by Gary Craig in 1997, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a clinically proven technique to assist people in overcoming physical, emotional, and mental difficulties. It also promotes a more efficient energy flow throughout your body. It has been shown to be efficient and long-lasting. At the same time, implementation takes only a little time.
EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) helps in the elimination of undesired emotions as well as the maintenance of levels of energy at all times.
Since EFT Tapping is an effective energy healing technique, Fingers as the basic tool, you use in this technique to enrich energy flow in your body.
As studies suggest EFT Tapping clears physical discomforts and emotional trauma through two aspects called talk and touch.
Talk
One of the primary elements of EFT is communication. Tapping, like many other therapies and healing modalities, is a form of communication. Talking is helpful because when people talk out their feelings and emotions, they change their perceptions and the way they evaluate things.
You can gauge the value of talking in therapy by the fact that a dedicated branch of psychotherapy called Talk Therapy was developed on it.
Touch
Another important part of EFT Tapping is a touch. Touch is one of the five love languages which expresses variety of emotions say caring, affection, and presence. It can be an enormously essential aspect in healing.
The importance of touch can be shown by the fact that babies who have had enough or any safe touch are less likely to have psychological difficulties later in life than babies who have not had enough or any safe touch. The method in which you will use touch as a part of EFT Tapping is by tapping on certain areas of the body also known as Tapping points.
THE MAIN EFT TAPPING POINTS
The main tapping points are as follows:
- Eyebrow
- Side of the eye/temple
- Under the eye
- Under the nose
- Chin
- Collarbone
- Under arm
- Thumb
- Index finger
- Middle finger
- Little finger
Since EFT allows you to transform the way you respond to uncomfortable and negative feelings for example pain, stress or tension, it can be first used with an experienced practitioner. It can also be used alone when you get a grip of concepts.
To your relief, it is easy to learn and flexible enough to use. Hence, it is self-applicable once learned.
Meditation is also a process which can enable the energy fields within and outside the body to become in balance, hence creating harmony and inner peace.
To get started straight-away below you will find 3 daily energy exercises that you can practice right now.
They are easy to follow and will allow the energy in your meridians to flow freely, allow negativity to be released, and leave you feeling refreshed and energised.
THREE DAILY ENERGY EXERCISES
1.
tantrum tapping
This is one of my favorite tapping sequences, not just because it instantly revives my energy but because I feel like a child again.
As the name suggests one of the main benefits to this is to calm down anger, tantrums or even an emotional overwhelm.
- Begin by tapping the point just below your collar bone on your sore spot with your fists closed.
- Tap your feet at the same time, just like you would while throwing a tantrum.
You could even shout out loud if you like.
2.
thymus tapping
Thymus Tapping is very effective if you have a respiratory disorder such as a cough or a cold as it boosts your immune system.
Begin by locating your thymus, just in the center of your chest, again this spot will feel a little sore if you press it.
- You can either use the tips of your fingers or roll your fists into a ball.
- Now tap on this point for a few minutes while breathing in through your nose and breathing out through your mouth.
3.
cross crawl (4)
Cross crawl harmonises the left and right side of the body allowing energy to flow freely in both directions.
- Begin by locating the tapping point just below your collar bone
- If you have found a soft spot that feels raw/ slightly painful to the touch, you have found your first tapping point.
- Tap on this point for 15- 20 seconds.
- Lift your right arm and left leg at the same time. Continue this exaggerated marching for at least a minute swinging opposite arm and leg across the mid section of the body.
- Breathe in deeply from your nose and breathe out through your mouth.
CONCLUSION
To release negative emotions and welcome a joyful life, you need to tap on positive feelings. With EFT Tapping technique, experiencing harmony in your body’s energy system is easy.
