Have you felt the weight to lose weight? The pressure to re-size? Have you tried everything? From vegan to keto to fasting and brutal exercise routines?


You found yourself stepping on the scales daily and noticed not a single gram, let alone kilogram or pound shifted. 


Deflated, disappointed and dejected you gave up, and found it easier to tuck into a bag of potato chips or chocolate biscuits.


Muttering to yourself, "This is too hard. It's never going to work. I might as well give up!"


Days passed and then a family member or a friend makes a comment about how fat you have become. Or you looked in the mirror and you made a comment to yourself about the bulging belly or wobbly thighs. 


You resolve to start your weight loss journey again and the same cycle of the latest  diet and exercise fad begins, leaving you feeling frustrated and hopeless.

But What Separates the people who lose weight and who don't is their emotions & mindset.

Most people think that counting calories, low-fat diets, and high-intensity exercise plans will help you lose weight. 


The problem with this is these methods only produce short term results and we find ourselves piling the weight back on once we stop or hit a plateau.

So what is the reason these methods produce only short term benefits? The reason is- these methods are focused on the surface symptoms of weight and not on the root cause of the weight gain. 


You might be wondering what is at the root cause of weight gain? At the root cause are our unresolved emotions and negative thinking. 


Examples of emotions that can sabotage weight loss and pile on the pounds are as follows:

  • Anger
  • Sadness
  • Shame
  • Embarrassment
  • Aloneness

If these emotions are not released, they get buried down and surface from time to time.


When they surface and you start to feel uncomfortable, it's easier to stuff them down versus allowing  them to be released.  

Studies have shown that instead of focusing solely on diet and exercise, the focus of the weight loss plan should also be on:*

  • Releasing your emotional baggage
  • Re-shaping your thoughts 
  • Increasing your self image

The participants of the particular study were more likely to lose weight and keep the weight off with time.


Clinical Studies for EFT Tapping:


1. A 4-week program where study participants received 2 hours of EFT Tapping per week and showed reductions in:

  • Food cravings
  • ‘Power of food’ (people were less affected by the presence of food cues)
  • Negative psychological symptoms (e.g. stress, depression and anxiety)
  • Restraint ability & Weight.


One year later everyone was still the same (improved in all areas) and the cravings had not returned. Many could not even remember the craving they previously had.

2. The next study compared CBT to EFT Tapping. This was an 8-week or 2 hour-per week program.


Both CBT and EFT Tapping gave results, but the results with the EFT Tapping group were visible in half the time. Plus in the follow up a year later with the CBT group, the cravings and anxiety came back but with the EFT tapping group they did not.

3. The next study was to test if EFT Tapping works for online weight loss trainings. The results showed the same benefits and even in the 2 year follow up the results last. This was the first EFT study wherein the follow up has been for 2 years.

Struggle With Sugar Addiction Ended

My name is Dr Rangana Rupavi Choudhuri (PhD). I am an International Author, Speaker and Trainer.
